Clover Mites

About Clover Mites
Most clover mite infestations take place in the spring and fall. All clover mites are actually female. While their lifespan is only two weeks, each mite lays up to 70 unfertilized eggs that hatch in the spring. Before you know it, you can have thousands of them in your home. If you try to remove them, you’re likely to crush them, resulting in red-colored stains on walls, carpets and furniture. That can leave your house looking like a crime scene.
